Whether you’re a seasoned leader or just starting out, you can find more than 100 ways to build your leadership skills at S&T. Here are just a third of those options.
  • Log on to Org Sync for a list of our 220+ student organizations and attend MinerRama to discover the ones you want to join
  • Meet with a Peer Involvement Advisor at rol.la/org-syc
  • Attend a cultural event: Celebration of Nations, Black History Month, Safe Space Training
  • Participate in Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service
  • Compete in intramurals
  • Attend the Student Leadership Conference, National Residence Hall Honorary Leadership Trip or Stand Up Stand Out
  • Apply for the Chancellor’s Leadership Academy at cla.mst.edu
  • Enroll in New Student Honors Academy
  • Register for Emerging Leaders’ Institute at lcprograms.mst.edu
  • Attend a personal or leadership development workshop
  • Get an on-campus job that will build your skills
  • Run for a committee chair position
  • Apply to be on a Miner Challenge Team at minerchallenge.mst.edu
  • Form an intramural team
